Humans Parked Illegaly

Through running mental health workshops at Mind, I learned that living on the streets can land you with a fine of up to £1000. So my creative partner and I created an awareness campaign to try to change this 201-year-old law, playing with something that p*sses off a lot of Brits daily, making an overlooked issue hard to ignore.

We changed regular parking tickets to read as 'HUMAN' parking tickets, featuring QR codes that direct users to a government petition website to change the law. We launched our campaign with a series of guerrilla stunts in central London.

Three months later, the UK Government chose to repeal the law.
